Bianca Butti, Amber Heard’s ex-girlfriend, has broken her silence and stood by Heard’s allegations against Johnny Depp in a new book.
Bianca Butti, a cinematographer and former partner of Amber Heard, has spoken publicly about the most high-profile trial of the decade, expressing her full support for the actress. In the new book Hollywood Vampires: Johnny Depp, Amber Heard, and the Celebrity Exploitation Machine, Butti shares her perspective as a close witness to the suffering Heard endured during her relationship with Depp.
“I believe everything she said. Especially as someone who was her intimate partner,” Butti reveals. “If I moved suddenly during an argument, she would flinch. It was clear she had been in a very violent relationship.”
According to Butti, the relationship between Amber and Johnny was marked by a “toxic dynamic” in which healthy communication was impossible. “She tried to stand her ground, but he wouldn’t allow it. He was out of control, drank heavily, used drugs… and that always ends badly.”
She also recalls how Heard coped with the trial from Los Angeles: “She didn’t know how to cry, how to collapse, how to express anything. She only knew how to keep going. She was completely emotionally detached.”
Amber and Bianca began their relationship in 2020 and were together for over a year. They separated before the defamation trial in the United States, which Amber ultimately settled in December 2022 with a financial agreement.
