Zhou Yiran becomes Ami Paris’ first Chinese global ambassador, sealing a creative and strategic alliance years in the making.
Ami Paris has announced Chinese actor and singer Zhou Yiran as its new global ambassador, marking a significant step in the brand’s international expansion while solidifying a relationship that began several years ago. This collaboration reinforces the French house’s presence in Asia, particularly in the highly competitive Chinese luxury market.
“He represents love, friendship and inclusivity. Ami Paris feels like a friend in life: relaxed and authentic,” said Zhou, who has amassed more than 6.2 million followers on Weibo and 4.7 million on Douyin. The artist expressed his excitement about exploring fresh creative paths with the Parisian brand: “I look forward to more sparks of creativity together, discovering a style that is joyful and free-spirited.”

For years, the actor has been dressed by Ami for various public appearances, making this appointment a natural evolution of a creative friendship. According to Alexandre Mattiussi, founder and creative director of the house, Zhou Yiran perfectly embodies its identity: “His carefree attitude and effortless elegance resonate deeply with Ami’s values,” the brand highlighted.
The appointment also underscores Ami Paris’ ambition to strengthen its foothold in China, where it already operates 26 points of sale, including a new opening in Shenyang MixC last March. Choosing Zhou as its global face highlights the brand’s determination to bring Parisian spirit closer to a new generation of Asian consumers.
At just 24, Zhou Yiran is one of Asia’s rising entertainment figures. He gained recognition through his roles in the dramas ‘A Little Mood for Love’ and ‘The Bond’, before consolidating his fame with ‘When I Fly Towards You’ in 2023. Since then, he has appeared in titles such as ‘Twelve Letters’, ‘You Are Desire’ and ‘Reborn’. Alongside acting, he has also released singles like ‘Thoughts’ and ‘More Than Friends’, showcasing his versatility as an artist.
Prior to his alliance with Ami Paris, Zhou collaborated with renowned houses such as Bulgari, APM Monaco and Guerlain in regional campaigns, although this marks his first designation as the global face of a fashion brand.
