Andrew Garfield denies rumours about ‘Spider-Man 4’ and reflects on his career. While he doesn’t rule out returning to franchises, he has no plans to do so for now.
Andrew Garfield has denied his involvement in the upcoming film ‘Spider-Man 4.’ In an interview with GQ UK, the actor discussed the new phase of his career and his more selective approach to choosing projects. “I’m going to disappoint you,” Garfield admitted, referring to fans hoping to see him as Peter Parker again. However, he acknowledged that some might not believe him, given that he vehemently denied his appearance in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ before surprising everyone with his return. “I know no one’s going to trust anything I say from now on,” he joked.
Despite this, Garfield hasn’t completely ruled out returning to a major franchise. “If it aligns with my soul and is something fun, I’d consider it,” he said. He even joked about potential future needs, like paying for his future children’s school tuition.
The 41-year-old actor portrayed Spider-Man in The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), its sequel (2014), and in No Way Home (2021). Meanwhile, Tom Holland has confirmed that Spider-Man 4 is set to begin production this summer. Although the script still needs some tweaking, Holland described the project as highly exciting.
