Balenciaga reclaims its fragrance heritage with an exclusive high perfume line of 10 scents and a flagship boutique in Paris.
Balenciaga is making a powerful comeback in the world of fragrance with the launch of a daring new collection of 10 high perfumes and a dedicated boutique in Paris. This marks the first major scent venture since Kering Beauté brought the brand’s fragrance division back in-house in 2023, redefining the maison’s role as both a couture and fragrance house.
The collection pays tribute to Balenciaga’s storied past, beginning with a meticulous recreation of Le Dix, the brand’s debut perfume first introduced in 1947. Archivists spent over 15 years searching for an original bottle, eventually succeeding and using it to reconstruct the fragrance in detail. Each bottle in the new line echoes the vintage design, with a globular glass cap, hand-tied ribbon and Balenciaga’s iconic grey packaging.

Among the standout creations, Le Dix combines iris absolute with violet leaf and incense, Cristóbal fuses oud and oak moss, while Muscara offers ambrette seed blended with iris. Every perfume is designed to merge heritage and innovation, embodying the maison’s radical spirit.
The fragrances debuted on September 10th at 10 Avenue George V, the historic Paris address where Balenciaga’s couture legacy was reborn in 2021. The boutique mirrors the raw architectural codes of the neighbouring couture store, with a mix of velvet, suede and concrete, alongside steel displays and mirrored centrepieces.
Prices start at €55 for a 15ml travel spray, with 100ml bottles at €260. A Le Dix miniature set of 10 flacons is available for €320, while a discovery box of 10 samples retails for €70. The bottles are refillable and come in responsibly sourced packaging, highlighting Balenciaga’s commitment to sustainability.
With this bold return to perfumery, Balenciaga unites its past, present and future, positioning itself as a distinctive voice in the luxury fragrance world.
