Following the news that Japanese artist Verdy would be the new artistic director for BLACKPINK’s Born Pink world tour, we finally get a first look at their collaborative creations.
In the form of a pop-up experience in London, the Born Pink pop-up will feature a showcase of Verdy’s distinctive character, Vick, and YG Entertainment’s mascot, KRUNK, while also providing fans with the opportunity to purchase limited-edition merchandise. Visitors will be able to choose from premium t-shirts, caps, hoodies, and accessories, all exclusively designed by Verdy for the event.
Those who purchase an item from the collection will receive a limited-edition tote bag, also designed by Verdy. As the experience is presented by American Express, cardholders and a guest will have exclusive access to the event one hour before its opening and will be able to acquire two exclusive items, a black hoodie and matching pants, which other visitors won’t be able to obtain. Amex cardholders will also have access to a dedicated checkout lane and will receive a special sticker to customize their tote bags.
The exclusive capsule has been created by Verdy to complement the global nature of BLACKPINK’s tour, which spans 22 countries and will conclude on August 26.
