Casablanca presents its Spring-Summer 2025 collection, exploring the raw and vibrant side of Los Angeles and celebrating its cultural diversity.
Charaf Tajer, founder and creative director of Casablanca, introduces his Spring-Summer 2025 collection inspired by Los Angeles, delving into a lesser-known side of the city. Far from the usual glamour, Tajer immerses himself in the cultural richness of LA, merging influences from Chicano Lowrider culture with the surf and skate scenes of Venice Beach.

The collection pays homage to the Mexican-American community, reflecting motifs such as roses and gradients that evoke the intricate art of Lowriders. The garments combine these elements with Casablanca’s impeccable tailoring, achieving a balance between urban and sophisticated. The use of crochet, knitwear, and embroidery adds a handcrafted touch that highlights the authenticity of Los Angeles subcultures.

The collection is also inspired by iconic figures like Pat Riley, former Lakers coach, and Bootsy Collins, the funk legend, integrating styles of power and psychedelia. The tailored suits and bold prints reflect the duality between elegance and extravagance.

Tajer not only celebrates Los Angeles; he reimagines it, transferring its energy and diversity to the Paris runway. With this collection, Casablanca captures the ever-evolving spirit of the city, showcasing a raw, vibrant, and lively LA.
