Chanel dazzled at Paris Fashion Week with Brad Pitt and Penélope Cruz in an emotional cinematic tribute.

Chanel captivated Paris Fashion Week with a tribute to the French classic “A Man and a Woman” by Claude Lelouch, starring Brad Pitt and Penélope Cruz. In a black and white short film, they masterfully recreated the iconic roles of 1966, with Francis Lai’s soundtrack in the background.

In a clever role reversal at the restaurant, model Rianne Van Rompaey, playing the waitress, takes orders. Pitt asks for the steak, and Cruz charmingly responds. Amid laughter, they order Chateaubriands, skipping the starters.

The film unfolds in Deauville, the inspiration for Virginie Viard’s fall collection. While Cruz arrived with Lelouch, Pitt did not attend.

Chanel and Pitt have a history since 2012 when he became the ambassador for No. 5. Cruz has been an ambassador since 2018. Although they shared the screen in “The Counselor” in 2013, this collaboration marks a unique chapter.

Chanel, deeply linked to cinema, is a partner of the Deauville American Film Festival, celebrating its 50th anniversary. The fashion house continues to merge fashion and film, demonstrating that elegance and French cinema are timeless.
