Elijah Blue Allman, son of Cher, was hospitalised following an erratic episode in California; drugs were found at his residence.
Elijah Blue Allman, the son of iconic singer Cher and the late Gregg Allman, was hospitalised on 14 June in California following an episode of erratic behaviour, as confirmed by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

Authorities stated that upon arriving at Allman’s residence in Landers, California, he was assessed by medical personnel, and drugs were found on the property. The case remains under investigation.
Elijah, aged 48, has faced personal struggles over the years, including issues with addiction. In 2023, Cher filed for a temporary conservatorship, citing concerns for her son’s mental health and wellbeing. The petition was withdrawn in 2024 following a private agreement.

His estranged wife, Marieangela King, issued an emotional statement exclusively: “Though he faces internal battles, Elijah acts from a place of strength. I will always support him.”
Elijah is known for his music career with the alternative metal band Deadsy.
