Angelina Jolie, founder of “Atelier Jolie,” has partnered with luxury brand Chloé to create a capsule collection called “Chloé x Atelier Jolie.”

Atelier Jolie and Chloé have revealed that they share common values and a mutual commitment to promoting environmental sustainability and social responsibility in the fashion industry. Both parties advocate for increased transparency and traceability from all stakeholders.

This capsule collection will be co-designed by Gabriela Hearst, the current creative director of Chloé, and Angelina Jolie herself, as a philanthropist and founder of Atelier Jolie.

“As soon as I heard Angelina’s vision for Atelier Jolie, I believed in what she was saying,” says Gabriela Hearst. “It’s a way to uplift others through the beauty of garment craftsmanship and their deep respect for the environment,” she adds. Therefore, “it is an honor for me that Chloé is the first collaborator of Atelier Jolie, as both share great ideals for the progress of our species.” And “that’s why I love Angelina and Chloé so deeply,” she explains.

“Very few luxury brands have a B Corp certification,” and “it was important for me to work with Chloé,” says Angelina Jolie. “It is a privilege to design with Gabriela Hearst, and I hope that all women feel comfortable and beautiful in this capsule collection,” Jolie reveals.

As a preview of the collection, they have confirmed that it will be targeted towards a female audience, with a series of garments and designs specifically tailored for the evening. With a timeless aesthetic, the design has been inspired by some of Angelina Jolie’s best and equally timeless pieces from her wardrobe, now reimagined by Hearst and Jolie themselves to shape this capsule collection, which will be entirely made from textile leftovers and surplus.

The development and production process for creating the pieces in this capsule collection is based on “the use of materials from deadstock and low-impact sources,” “the work of artisans from a Fair Trade company,” as well as a series of “women-led social enterprises.”

“The collection will feature a higher percentage of low-impact materials than any previous collection,” emphasizes Chloé.
