Cos unveils its Autumn 2025 collection in New York: minimalist silhouettes, refined tailoring, silk layers and a new store opening in New Delhi.
Last Sunday, Cos made its return to New York City with the unveiling of its Autumn 2025 collection — a showcase that reaffirmed the brand’s minimalist DNA while infusing it with a renewed sense of sophistication and ease.
Creative director Karin Gustafsson explained after the show: “We really wanted to put a point of view across in the new silhouette, which is slightly more waisted, but still retains the effortless feeling that is so core to Cos.”

The collection nodded subtly to the Fifties with open necklines and feminine cinched cuts, while much of the line focused on reinventing timeless classics in deep, elegant tones. Semi-sheer mulberry silk turtlenecks with integrated scarves draped over plush shearling coats, and double-faced wool coats were tailored with gently nipped-in waists that hinted at sculptural silhouettes. Heritage checks were refreshed in close-fitting rollnecks, already arriving in the H&M-owned brand’s stores, alongside modern accessories like paper bag-inspired crinkled clutches.
The guiding thread was the balance between softness and structure: breezy crinkled satin sets and fluid, cape-like silk looks contrasted with sharp leather jackets, cocooning coats and utilitarian tailoring. Each look was grounded in reality by flat footwear — suede trainers, loafers and sleek leather sock boots — designed for the brand’s global customer constantly on the move.
The finale closed with an announcement that underscores Cos’s international ambitions: this autumn, the brand will open its first store in New Delhi, cementing its position as one of today’s leading names in contemporary minimalism.
