Danielle Peazer, Liam Payne‘s ex-girlfriend, shared a heartfelt tribute after the singer’s death at the age of 31. In a lengthy post on Instagram, the dancer revealed the last message she received from Liam just a few weeks ago, a message that she described as particularly emotional.
Liam and Danielle met on The X Factor, where he was competing with One Direction and she was working as a dancer. The couple had an on-and-off relationship for two years before breaking up in 2013. Despite going their separate ways, they remained in contact. Danielle is now a mother to Mia, along with her partner Sonny Joy.
In her tribute, Danielle expressed how much she will cherish Liam’s message, in which he expressed his happiness for the family she has built with Sonny and their daughter. “It’s something I will always remember,” she wrote.
Danielle also reflected on the impact of Liam’s loss, remembering not only his musical career but also his role as a son, brother, and, most importantly, a father. With a message full of love and strength, she directed her thoughts to Liam’s son, Bear, and to his family, lamenting that their story did not have a different ending.
