Disney+ releases trailer and poster for thriller ‘Hyper Knife’ starring Park Eun Bin

Disney+ has unveiled the main poster and trailer for its highly anticipated original Korean drama, which will be available on the platform from 19th March.

‘Hyper Knife‘ stars Park Eun Bin in her first antagonist role, alongside acclaimed actors Sul Kyung Gu, Yoon Chan Young, and Park Byung Eun. This medical thriller promises to immerse viewers in a story filled with tension, rivalries, and a gripping atmosphere of suspense.

The main poster features the characters Seok (Park Eun Bin) and Deok Hee (Sul Kyung Gu) standing back-to-back inside a divided brain, with the tagline “Hate to death, my cherished decalcomania.” This striking image hints at an unbreakable connection between the two, who, despite their mutual hatred, are inescapably bound to each other. The explosive dynamic between them raises anticipation.

Another poster presents the protagonists in contrasting settings — a university hospital operating room and an illegal surgery room — highlighting the similarity between them despite walking opposite paths. The slogan “The more I look, the more they resemble each other, even in their slight madness” emphasises how their destinies are intertwined by a single event.

The newly released trailer starts with a shocking moment when Seok kills a woman blackmailing him over illegal surgeries, showing his cold and ruthless side. The plot intensifies as the police begin tracking these illegal procedures, with Deok Hee, the world’s leading neurosurgeon, identifying Seok as the prime suspect.

Six years later, Deok Hee seeks out his former student, asking, “I can’t operate on myself, can I?” entrusting him with his life, setting the stage for new twists in the story. The deep hatred and secrets between Seok and Deok Hee promise to be the driving force of a narrative that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats.

‘Hyper Knife’ will premiere on Disney+ on 19th March, promising to be one of the most thrilling dramas of the year.
