Dolce & Gabbana introduces Fefé, a €99 perfume for dogs, igniting debate over its impact on animal welfare.
The prestigious Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana has unveiled a new offering for dog lovers: a perfume called Fefé, inspired by co-founder Domenico Dolce’s miniature poodle. Priced at €99 for 100 milliliters, this luxury fragrance promises a unique olfactory experience for pets, with notes of ylang-ylang, musk, and sandalwood.
Fefé comes in an elegant glass bottle lacquered in green, with 24-karat gold details, and is accompanied by an exclusive dog collar. Although Dolce & Gabbana assures that the product is safe for animals, some animal welfare experts have raised concerns. The RSPCA, a British organization dedicated to animal protection, warns that dogs heavily rely on their sense of smell to interact with their surroundings. Therefore, they recommend avoiding products with strong fragrances, as they could be unpleasant for pets.

Despite Dolce & Gabbana’s safety assurances, the launch of Fefé has sparked debate among experts and pet owners about the necessity and impact of such products on the well-being of dogs.
