Dua Lipa is making a bold style statement this festival season, opting for dark and sophisticated looks. After headlining the Glastonbury Festival with five different outfits, the British singer has continued to impress at the Open’er Festival in Poland and the Rock Werchter Festival in Belgium.
In partnership with her new stylist, Jahleel Weaver, Lipa has maintained a “dark lady” aesthetic. This style was cemented at the May Met Gala, where she stunned in an all-black ensemble. During her recent performance in Belgium, Lipa wore a custom mini shirt dress by Sabato de Sarno for Gucci. The dress, adorned with crystals and featuring two side openings, was complemented by tall black studded boots, adding a rocker edge to her look.
To accentuate her standout attire, Lipa chose white gold link necklaces with diamond pavé from Tiffany & Co., the same pieces she had worn previously at Glastonbury.
It’s no surprise that Lipa favors designs by Sarno for Gucci, as although she did not attend the designer’s first show, she was front row at his cruise presentation, accompanied by her sister, once again sporting an all-black ensemble, including Gucci’s iconic platforms.
