In an interview for the Too Much podcast, Paris confessed that her relationship with Powell began to deteriorate six months before their split in April 2023. While she never named names, she alluded to the public speculation:
“I could pretend I was okay or stand up for myself. I decided to walk away. I was devastated.”
The model criticised how the situation was handled and lamented that Powell never denied the rumours:
“I just wanted respect, especially if everything was going to be public. He never said, ‘I wouldn’t cheat on my girlfriend.’ Never.”
Paris revealed the breaking point came during a phone call when Powell asked her not to travel to Australia, where he was filming with Sweeney.
