Nicola Roberts has announced that she is expecting her first child with her fiancé, Mitch Hahn.
The Girls Aloud singer, 40, shared the news on Instagram on Christmas Day, revealing her baby bump and confirming that the couple will soon be welcoming a new addition to their family.
She wrote: “Mitch and I have had the most magical Christmas Day sharing the most precious news with our families. We’ve been keeping a secret. We are five months pregnant! We can’t wait to meet our little one in the spring.”
Nicola Roberts and the former footballer, 37, have been engaged since last year, following a romantic trip to Spain.
At the time, the caption announcing their engagement on social media read: “The most gorgeous Monday in Monaco for my dad’s 60th with the whole family. The bestest trip.” Among the images shared was a photograph of Nicola sitting at a table opposite her fiancé Mitch Hahn.
Mitch Hahn is a semi-professional footballer, and the couple have been together for three years. The engagement announcement marked the first time the singer publicly shared an image of her partner.

The announcement comes one year after Nicola Roberts was seen wearing an engagement ring during an on-stage performance on the Girls Aloud reunion tour, sparking speculation at the time about when the couple had officially become engaged.
