Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon has named BLACKPINK’s Lisa as the best dancer in K-pop, praising her talent, strength and precision.
Lisa, a member of BLACKPINK, has become synonymous with dance within the K-pop industry. Her flawless lines, the balance of power and delicacy in her movements have turned her into one of the most magnetic performers on stage. Her passion for dance began in childhood, and her ability to replicate any choreography within seconds earned her the nickname “Genius” among fans.
Now, her talent has received fresh recognition from Hyoyeon, a member of Girls’ Generation and regarded as one of the most influential dancers in the scene. In an episode titled ‘SM’s Gem vs. CUBE’s Gem’ of the YouTube show ‘The Appraiser (감별사)’, the artist did not hesitate to choose Lisa as the best dancer in the genre: “Lisa dances incredibly. I think she’s number one in K-pop,” she stated firmly.
Hyoyeon, known for her honesty and straightforward style, also recalled that in previous interviews she had expressed her wish to have Lisa on her team if she ever took part in ‘Street Woman Fighter’. She further mentioned that, among male idols, her favourites are SHINee’s Taemin and EXO’s Kai.
