Gucci honours its silk heritage with the ’90×90′ project, featuring nine guest artists and the book ‘Gucci: The Art of Silk,’ highlighting its iconic craftsmanship.
Gucci pays tribute to its 104-year history with the launch of the ’90×90′ project, a global artistic initiative showcasing its mastery of silk. The luxury house has invited nine international artists to reinterpret five iconic themes from its archives: flora, fauna, nautical, equestrian, and the GG Monogram.
On 1st April, Gucci will launch the sale of the ’90×90′ scarves and unveil a campaign dedicated to silk. The following day, exclusive events will take place in Paris, including a special activation at the Rue Saint-Honoré boutique and a themed dinner.

Additionally, in collaboration with Assouline, Gucci will publish ‘Gucci: The Art of Silk’ at the end of April. This book explores the history and artistry behind the brand’s iconic scarves, offering a detailed journey through their evolution and cultural significance.
Since the 1950s, Gucci has built a rich legacy in silk, with memorable designs such as the ‘Flora‘ scarf from 1966, created for Princess Grace of Monaco. With this celebration, the brand reaffirms its commitment to craftsmanship and fashion, seamlessly blending tradition and innovation in every piece.
