Gucci welcomes the Lunar New Year with NiNi and Xiao Zhan, celebrating tradition and elegance in its collection.
January 29 marks the beginning of the Lunar New Year, and Gucci kicks off the celebrations with its ‘Year of the Snake’ campaign. Under the creative direction of Sabato De Sarno, the Italian fashion house pays tribute to the symbolic renewal represented by the snake, exploring themes of family unity and traditional warmth.
NiNi and Xiao Zhan, the global ambassadors of the brand, star in this heartfelt narrative. According to NiNi, “The campaign combines the elegant form of the snake with agility, delivering a message of warm and memorable festive wishes.” Xiao Zhan, for his part, highlighted the balance between craftsmanship and modern aesthetics, stating, “I am delighted to take part in this celebration that highlights the festive spirit in a contemporary way.”

The collection features pieces that integrate the snake as a central motif. From intricate silk threads to bold color combinations, Gucci’s design transforms the symbol into exclusive details, such as the snake-print insoles of the iconic Signoria Slingback Pumps.
With this collection, Gucci celebrates not only the Year of the Snake but also the joy of reunion and tradition, now available on its website and in physical stores.
