Han Kjøbenhavn presented ‘Concrete Born’ at Copenhagen Fashion Week, an Autumn/Winter 2025 collection inspired by the raw urban beauty and resilient spirit of its inhabitants.
Han Kjøbenhavn was the penultimate show of the season at Copenhagen Fashion Week and, true to its dramatic roots, its Autumn/Winter 2025 offering left no one indifferent. Titled ‘Concrete Born’, the collection was inspired by the raw beauty of urban landscapes, as well as the resilient spirit of those who inhabit them.
Visually, the collection was an aesthetic cocktail influenced by designers like Rick Owens, Balenciaga, and Natasha Zinko, showcasing oversized boots, cropped knitwear, and exaggerated shoulder pads. The show took place at Copenhagen’s TAP1 space, a brutalist venue that typically hosts over 4,000 people and, with its industrial architecture, provided the perfect backdrop for the collection.

For creative director Jannik Wikkelsø Davidsen, this collection was an opportunity to reflect on his upbringing in the suburbs of Denmark, exploring how that environment influenced his creativity. “This collection stems from my upbringing and blends with my current state of mind, where my thoughts and emotions are now,” Davidsen explained. “It reflects the spirit of the people who thrive there. Looking at society today, I felt it was important to create something that connects and resonates with my origins,” he added.
The collection also embraced a wintery aesthetic, with faux fur coats and tactile dresses, as well as incorporating retro football-inspired clothing sponsored by personal relationships, highlighting the sense of community and inclusion.
