Hermès introduces the Cape Cod Mini, a refined jewellery-inspired evolution of its 1991 watch designed by Henri d’Origny.
Luxury watchmaking is entering a new era defined by discretion and aesthetic precision, and Hermès has confirmed this shift with the launch of the Cape Cod Mini — a subtle reinterpretation of its historic 1991 design by Henri d’Origny. The piece retains the emblematic “square within a rectangle” case, inspired by anchor chain links, while reducing its proportions to 27 x 20 mm, transforming the watch into a true jewellery accessory.
Available in stainless steel or yellow gold, the collection features dials in argenté, étoupe, ardoise, doré and Rouge H. Selected versions are set with 46 diamonds, enhancing the refined character of the design without tipping into ostentation. Each model is paired with Swift leather or Chamkilight goatskin straps, offered in single or double tour styles — one of the maison’s most recognisable signatures.

The Cape Cod Mini is powered by a high-precision Swiss quartz movement and offers water resistance up to 3 bar, balancing everyday functionality with understated elegance. It will arrive in selected boutiques from mid-April, reinforcing the contemporary luxury trend towards smaller, more intimate pieces with a stronger artisanal dimension.
