They kissed, they fought, they conquered — and now everyone wants to know: are Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie just best friends, or something more?

Since Heated Rivalry dropped, the chemistry between Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie has ignited endless speculation. But the truth, as they’ve repeatedly emphasised, is far more tender and radical than rumours suggest.

“This is the first time in my life I’m having this many eyes on me. They’ve seen me naked, they’ve seen me be in love with a man on-screen… it’s only normal for people to try to transfer that over to mine and Hudson’s real life,” Connor told Vulture.

Rather than avoid the whispers, both actors have leaned into openness. Connor described Hudson as “my best friend — I literally can’t fathom doing this without him.” From quitting their jobs on the same day to flying out together for the shoot, their lives have been in sync from the start.

Hudson, speaking to Deadline, added: “Connor and I, we’re best friends, and we love expressing that physically.” That physicality, often misunderstood, has sparked conversations about how society views male intimacy. “If you’re still uncomfortable with expressing physical love in 2025, you’ve got to fcking get over yourself,”* Hudson said on Andy Cohen’s show.

Their connection was instant. According to showrunner Jacob Tierney, Hudson’s audition comment was… explicit. “The other guy was good, but Connor felt like he was going to pin me down and fck me,”* he reportedly said — setting the tone for what was to come.

The chaos continued with their first scene together. On the Shut Up Evan podcast, Hudson recalled trying on the cck sock* in front of Connor as an icebreaker: “Cinch, tie, and then tuck in.”

But underneath the sexual humour lies mutual admiration. “He’s so incredibly truthful,” Hudson said of Connor. “That’s his superpower.” Connor called acting with Hudson “easy,” rooted in deep trust.

They have matching tattoos, pet names like Papi and Pookie, and share “big spooning hugs” in the mornings. “We just love each other dearly,” Hudson summarised.

Call it bromance, call it queerness, or simply call it love — whatever it is, it’s real. And fans are right to be obsessed.
