Jennifer Lawrence, famous for her sense of humor and Oscar-winning films, has recently caught attention for her fashion style.

Jennifer Lawrence is known for both her sense of humor and her Oscar-winning films. But, in recent months, Jennifer’s fashion sense has generated almost as much interest as her ability to eat 10 increasingly spicy chicken wings in a row. The mastermind behind her red carpet transformation? Los Angeles-based stylist Jamie Mizrahi, who also works with Lawrence’s friend, Adele.

Mizrahi says her collaboration with Lawrence “developed naturally” given the fact that they are friends and neighbors in Los Angeles, and Lawrence often pops over to borrow looks. The actress manages to “care enough without caring too much” when it comes to fashion, leaning towards pieces that are “cool, classic, and elegant.” “Her wardrobe is relatively simple and modern, but not dictated by what’s trendy,” says Mizrahi. “There’s a clean and relaxed way of dressing.”

That effortless freshness has been evident during Lawrence’s promotional tour for ‘No Hard Feelings’. “We wanted the entire press tour to be consistent; it was important for her to feel like the same person at all times,” says the stylist about the idea behind the looks. “It was also important for Jen to feel comfortable and true to herself, she is timeless and doesn’t take herself too seriously.”

In London, that meant a small black silk dress from the Autumn/Winter 2023 collection of Dior paired with Anito Ko jewelry one day, and another day an asymmetrical grey look from The Row with the Elsa Peretti Sevillana pendant from Tiffany & Co. Meanwhile, in New York, an ice-blue design from Proenza Schouler’s Resort 2024 collection and a goddess-worthy Dior dress were the highlights.

However, Mizrahi’s favorite look is from the Croisette. “Cannes was a special moment,” she says, reflecting on Lawrence’s scarlet Dior Haute Couture design. “The silhouette, the shawl, the hairstyle, and the makeup… everything was so glamorous.” As for Mizrahi’s advice for aspiring stylists: “Seize every opportunity that comes your way, as one job can lead to another, and building relationships is important. Also, avoid looking at what everyone else is doing… Stay on your own path.”
