KAI returns with ‘Wait On Me’, a global sonic journey that blends emotion, sensuality, and genuine artistic evolution.
After a two-year hiatus, KAI makes a powerful and sensitive comeback. The EXO member presents ‘Wait On Me’, a mini album of seven tracks that combines global rhythms with a sophisticated sonic aesthetic. The title track opens the project with a seductive mix of Afrobeats and rising synthesizers, wrapped in an atmosphere that speaks of waiting and longing.
Produced by Jacob Aaron, the emotionally charged lyrics reflect KAI’s personal journey, with him confessing: “I’ve gone through many emotions with this return: joy, nerves… but above all, gratitude for those who have waited for me.”
The album navigates through sounds such as reggaeton, Latin trap, techno, and Amapiano, highlighting tracks like ‘Walls Don’t Talk’, ‘Pressure’, and the already known ‘Adult Swim’. Each song showcases a more mature side of the artist, reaffirming his evolution as a soloist.
