Karol G stuns in the music video for ‘Única’, showcasing an extraordinary Rapunzel-inspired mane crafted entirely by hand to become a full visual fantasy.
In her new ‘Única’ video, Karol G takes her aesthetic narrative to the next level by transforming into a contemporary version of Rapunzel, delivering one of the most ambitious beauty concepts of her career. The Colombian star appears with an XXL 30-foot mane — over nine metres — created exclusively for the shoot, becoming the central element of a visual story that blends fantasy, striking imagery and sophistication.
The monumental hairpiece was designed at record speed by acclaimed hairstylist Cesar Deleon Ramirez and his team, who worked against the clock to bring to life a vision that merged editorial references with technical precision. The creation process required nearly 18 hours of continuous work and involved fusing two 42-inch base wigs to construct the final, spectacular length.
To achieve Karol G’s signature blonde shade, professional products from L’Oréal Professionnel were used, while the ultra-glossy finish was perfected with targeted Kérastase treatments created to tame frizz and enhance a mirror-like shine on camera. The result is a cascade of hair that flows with constant movement, adding an almost cinematic dimension to every frame of the video.
Beyond its immediate impact, the mane becomes a core part of the visual message of ‘Única’, reinforcing a sense of female empowerment through a fairytale-inspired aesthetic reinterpreted from a contemporary pop lens.
