Kendrick Lamar has just made history in the music industry by surpassing his own record as the hip-hop artist with the highest-grossing concert ever recorded. His recent performance at Seattle’s Lumen Field, accompanied by singer SZA, brought in an impressive $14.8 million at the box office—$5 million more than his previous best.
The concert sold over 60,000 tickets, making Lamar the first rapper to generate more than $9 million in revenue from a single show. The previous record was held by Eminem, who grossed around $8.7 million in Melbourne in 2019.
