Kim Kardashian is no longer at the helm of SKKY Partners, the private equity firm she co-founded in 2022 with former Carlyle Group dealmaker Jay Sammons. A recent shift in SKKY Partners’ leadership structure was reflected this week in the company’s securities filings, which indicate that Kardashian no longer holds the position of managing partner. While SKKY managed to secure several million dollars for its flagship SKIMS fund, the celebrity failed to meet the initial fundraising expectations. The duo had aimed to raise at least $1 billion to acquire consumer-focused companies but secured only $121 million and completed a single investment in TRUFF, a truffle-infused hot sauce company.
On SKKY Partners’ website, Kardashian is now listed as a co-founder and senior operating advisor, stepping away from her role as managing partner. Additionally, Kris Jenner, Kardashian’s mother, has been entirely removed from the team, despite previously being listed as a senior advisor. So far, neither Sammons nor the firm has commented on the leadership changes.
