Actress Kristen Stewart and her partner Dylan Meyer announce their collaboration in an upcoming film.

It’s unclear whether Stewart and Meyer knew they would be working together in a film after meeting on set in 2013. But just four years into their relationship, the celebrity couple is venturing into a new realm that may have inadvertently strengthened their bond.

In an interview with Rachel Sennott of The Idol, Stewart and Sennott discussed their upcoming film “Bottoms” and the beauty of working with loved ones. On the topic, Stewart chimed in and revealed the upcoming collaboration with her fiancée. “Dylan and I are writing a film,” she said. “It’s a comedy about stoner girls, and it’s really silly. I think people will enjoy it.”

Stewart then shared that working with her inner circle has changed the tone of her career and made it more enjoyable. “The reason I came up with this is because our producer is our best friend. We’re starting a company. I’ve worked with so many people I didn’t know and didn’t like for so long. It was definitely valuable, but also, screw that.”

After months of keeping their relationship under wraps, Stewart and her partner Meyer revealed in 2022 that they were writing a series in which Stewart would star. At the time, she expressed concerns about how collaborating might affect their relationship. But the recent announcement of their “comedy about stoner girls” gives a new meaning to the saying “happy wife, happy life,” one that happily embraces collaboration.
