The French fashion house will return to the catwalks next January 2025.

In January 2025, Lanvin will officially return to the Paris Fashion Week calendar, presenting the women’s and men’s ready-to-wear collections for Fall-Winter 2025. This occasion not only marks the maison’s return to one of fashion’s most prestigious events, but also the debut of Peter Copping as its new creative director. Known for his elegant sensibility and meticulous approach to design, Copping promises to reinterpret Jeanne Lanvin‘s iconic le Chic Ultime, a concept that encapsulates absolute sophistication.

Copping comes to Lanvin with an impressive track record. After training at Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art, he began his career at Sonia Rykiel and later made his mark at Louis Vuitton as head of women’s fashion under Marc Jacobs. His talents led him to lead creativity at Nina Ricci and then at Oscar de la Renta, where he took over the designer’s own legacy. More recently, his couture experience was consolidated at Balenciaga, overseeing special projects and the revival of its couture line.

Copping’s appointment at Lanvin in September 2024 reflects the house’s renewed strategy, which seeks to balance its rich history with a modern perspective. This upcoming runway show will not only celebrate this transition, but will also be a bold statement of Lanvin’s future, fusing legacy and avant-garde in an intimate runway show that promises to redefine Parisian elegance.
