Leighton Meester becomes the global face of Bubble Skincare with a campaign that celebrates joy, authenticity and emotional self-care.
The Gossip Girl star has returned to the spotlight – not for her Upper East Side looks this time, but as the very first global ambassador for Bubble Skincare. With a campaign titled Radical Joy, the brand opens a new chapter that goes beyond cosmetics to connect with authenticity and self-acceptance.
“Bubble’s mission goes beyond the product itself. They bring joy, love and inclusivity to all ages and skin types,” says Leighton Meester, who admits she fell in love with the brand’s emotional approach. She first came across Bubble through its lip balms and make-up artists who trusted the formulas. Today, she counts products like Plus One SPF, the Soft Launch cleanser and the Cosmic Silk toner among her favourites – all gentle on her sensitive skin without causing irritation.
The actress highlights how her beauty routine has shifted towards a more compassionate approach: “I’m careful with my skin, but also with myself. I try to be kind inside and out,” she says.
From the brand, founder and CEO Shai Eisenman explains why Meester was the natural choice: “She has an intergenerational connection. People who adored her 20 years ago still admire her today. She remains a style icon and a warm figure with strong aesthetic sensibility.”
Eisenman adds that this collaboration marks a new phase for Bubble, which until now has grown organically through social media and its community. Now, the aim is to strengthen its brand narrative: “Many people think we’re just a youth-focused brand because of our packaging, but our formulas are clinical, effective and designed for all ages.”
In a landscape where beauty founders seek to connect emotionally with their audiences, Bubble is betting on an ambassador who embodies evolution, sensitivity and authenticity. And with Leighton Meester leading the way, “radical joy” now has a face.
