Loro Piana reinterprets its textile heritage with a proposal where vibrant tones and sculptural shapes take centre stage.

The Italian house Loro Piana unveiled its Spring/Summer 2026 collection at the historic Palazzo Citterio in Milan, immersing guests in a sensory journey where colour, texture and form set the rhythm of the season. True to its mastery of noble fibres, the Maison embraces a chromatic evolution that goes beyond fabric.

The star materials — cashmere, silk and Merino wool — provide the foundation for a palette that blends earthy and neutral tones with vivid accents of red, yellow, turquoise, pink and blue, achieving a sophisticated balance between tradition and modernity. Textile craftsmanship is expanded through relaxed silhouettes and loose volumes that blur the line between sculpture and dress.

One of the key novelties of the season is the oversized felt hat, presented in different shapes and sizes, establishing itself as the defining accessory of the show. The house also reimagines some of its iconic pieces, such as the Maremma jacket in bomber form, the Spagna in Mustique linen, and the Traveller in organza.

Tailoring pieces — shawl-collar blazers, single-button jackets and cross-over cash silk tunics — are paired with wide-leg trousers, Bermuda shorts and skirts, widening the spectrum of a wardrobe that is both sophisticated and functional. These are joined by pieces such as silk summer tweed, brushed alpaca coats and cashmere sweatshirts, alongside eveningwear that preserves the fluid and deconstructed spirit of the collection.

A nautical spirit also emerges through sailing-inspired looks, sailor stripes and Punto Milano jackets in cotton and wool, complemented by floral prints and colour-block combinations that capture the essence of summer outdoors.

The collection is rounded off with a carefully curated range of accessories that blend tradition and minimalism. Highlights include the Extra Softy bags in supple leather, the new Lotus Basket and the Just Bag, a refined interpretation of the classic paper bag. Two new cashmere programmes also make their debut, reviving the house’s DNA: Sergio, focused on essentials, and Cedar Treccia, with classic cable-knit jumpers.
