The BTS phenomenon shows no signs of slowing down — not even as its members follow their own individual paths.
Jungkook and Jimin, two of the most prominent members of the South Korean group, have once again made history with their respective solo projects. According to Big Hit Music, Jungkook’s album Golden has surpassed three million copies sold, becoming the first Korean solo album to ever achieve such a feat.
Released in November 2023, Golden sold over 2.4 million copies in its first week and one million within the first three hours, breaking every previous record for a K-pop solo artist. The album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 and remained on the main albums chart for 25 consecutive weeks — the longest stay ever for an Asian solo singer.
Meanwhile, Jimin continues to solidify his solo career with Muse, his second solo album. The track Be Mine, one of the highlights of the project, has reached 300 million streams on Spotify, marking the seventh time the artist has achieved this milestone with a solo song.
Beyond their musical triumphs, both artists continue to strengthen their influence in the global fashion scene. Jimin was recently invited to Paris Fashion Week with Dior, the house he represents as a global ambassador, reaffirming his status as an icon of style and sophistication. Jungkook, on the other hand, attended New York Fashion Week with Calvin Klein — a partnership that has further amplified his global image.
Both successes prove that BTS’s legacy extends far beyond the group itself: each member continues to write their own chapter within global pop, keeping alive the creative force that reshaped the music industry.
