Loro Piana celebrates its centenary with an exhibition in Shanghai, highlighting its history, craftsmanship, and legacy in luxury.

Loro Piana, the iconic Italian luxury brand, will celebrate its centenary in 2024 with an exceptional exhibition at the Pudong Art Museum in Shanghai, from March 22 to May 5. This event marks the first collaboration between the prestigious luxury house and the museum, designed by Ateliers Jean Nouvel, reaffirming the brand’s commitment to innovation and culture.

Curated by Judith Clark, the exhibition will take visitors on an immersive journey through Loro Piana’s rich history, highlighting its family legacy, craftsmanship, and the exclusive fabrics that have defined the brand for decades. The show will include historical archives, works of art, and iconic garments that celebrate its mastery in the world of fibers.

China, a key country in Loro Piana’s journey due to its partnerships with cashmere breeders, will be the ideal setting to commemorate these 100 years of excellence. Additionally, as part of its centenary, Loro Piana has presented the book Master of Fibres and a collaboration with Harrods titled ‘The Workshop of Wonders.’

This global celebration reflects Loro Piana’s vision: to merge tradition, innovation, and timeless elegance that transcends borders.
