Louis-Gabriel Nouchi reinvents the iconic PUMA Mostro with the new mules, blending modernity, comfort, and the original legacy.

French designer Louis-Gabriel Nouchi has brought an innovative twist to the legendary PUMA Mostro with the new PUMA x LGN Mostro Mule, a bold reimagining of the 1999 classic. Unveiled during his Spring-Summer 2025 show in Paris, the mules feature a backless design that combines a modern aesthetic with elements true to the original model’s heritage.

The original Mostro was an emblem of urban style, thanks to its angular design inspired by athletics and surfing footwear. In this new version, Nouchi strips the silhouette down to its essence, creating a minimalist and sleek shoe with a single-material construction. Available in white and black, the monochromatic tones highlight the sculptural structure of the design.

The most striking detail is the preservation of the characteristic spikes from the Mostro, adding texture and a link to its legacy. With a focus on comfort, the backless design makes them an ideal choice for both daily wear and those seeking a piece of cutting-edge design.

The PUMA x LGN Mostro Mule will be available on January 23 at LGN and on January 25 at select stores, solidifying its status as an icon of contemporary design.
