On her podcast ‘With Love, Meghan’, the Duchess of Sussex recalls her time working in television and shares what truly made her happy.
Before becoming the Duchess of Sussex and captivating the world with her style and her voice as an activist, Meghan Markle led a very different life in front of the cameras. In the latest episode of her podcast ‘With Love, Meghan’, the 44-year-old actress and producer spoke with Chrissy Teigen about an unexpected job they both shared at the start of their careers.
The two reminisced about their time on the television show ‘Deal or No Deal’, where they worked as models holding the iconic briefcases. Among anecdotes, Teigen recalled how, after filming, they would all line up to remove their false eyelashes and store them in plastic bags — an experience she described as “those were the days”.
Meghan, meanwhile, remembered it with honesty and a touch of humour, admitting that beyond the on-screen experience, what truly made her smile was something quite specific: “I was so happy to have health insurance,” she confessed.
Now, as a mother, philanthropist and content creator, Markle looks back with gratitude, reaffirming that every stage — even the most unexpected — has shaped her journey towards becoming the woman and influential voice she is today.
