Mercedes-Benz kicks off its global Class of Creators initiative with Ice Spice and an artistic CLA that blends music, fashion, and design.

Mercedes-Benz has launched its global Class of Creators initiative with a high-profile collaboration featuring rapper Ice Spice. At the newly refurbished Manhattan showroom, the artist unveiled a customised CLA that fuses automotive design with urban aesthetics. The vehicle stands out with its molten chrome finish and gleaming details, capturing the essence of Ice Spice, the self-proclaimed “Princess of Rap”.

This launch marks the beginning of a global campaign inviting artists from various disciplines to reinterpret the new CLA through their creative lens. In addition to the car, Ice Spice released a capsule clothing collection featuring pastel and black hoodies and T-shirts that complement the vehicle’s design.

The launch event, titled Stars, Sounds & Slices, gathered over 350 guests and brought together art, music, and fashion. Live performances and a DJ set by LPX created an immersive experience that went far beyond a standard car unveiling.

Class of Creators will continue with collaborations from artists such as Gustaf Westman and KidSuper, as well as partnerships with brands like Hot Wheels and League of Legends, redefining the car’s role as an artistic and cultural medium.
