Mia Goth, Jacob Elordi and Oscar Isaac graced the black carpet in Paris for the highly anticipated premiere of ‘Frankenstein’, directed by Guillermo del Toro.
The acclaimed Mexican filmmaker unveiled his new adaptation of ‘Frankenstein’ at the historic Le Grand Rex in Paris, joined by his wife Kim Morgan, the main cast, and Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos. The film, which reimagines Mary Shelley’s classic through Del Toro’s unmistakable vision, has already sparked strong anticipation among critics worldwide.
During the premiere held a few days earlier in Los Angeles, Mia Goth opened up about what it meant for her to play Elizabeth Lavenza, describing the role as “an experience as thrilling as it was terrifying.” The actress admitted that taking on the challenge of working with Del Toro came with immense responsibility: “I’ve been a fan of Guillermo my whole life, like everyone. But it was also a lot of pressure,” she told Deadline. “I remember arriving in Toronto and feeling scared. I’ve never been more frightened at the start of a film.”

Her co-star Oscar Isaac echoed her sentiment, noting that the project was both intense and deeply inspiring. “It’s all about passion. Guillermo is such a warm, funny and passionate person. That energy is infectious and it really infused the entire production”, said the actor, who portrays Doctor Frankenstein.
For the Paris premiere, Mia Goth stunned in a gown from Giorgio Armani’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection, one of the final designs created by the legendary couturier himself, adding a note of homage and elegance to an evening defined by art, emotion and cinematic legacy.
