Cara Delevingne takes the spotlight in Stella McCartney’s Summer 2024 campaign, captured at the Veolia recycling plant in London.
The iconic phrase by RuPaul, “We’re all born naked and the rest is drag,” comes to life in Stella McCartney‘s new campaign for summer 2024, featuring the talented Cara Delevingne. However, for Delevingne, being born naked means becoming the muse for McCartney’s coveted Falabella bags.
The campaign, captured at the Veolia recycling plant in South London, highlights McCartney’s commitment to sustainability. Veolia, a company dedicated to water management, waste, and energy services, aligns perfectly with McCartney’s vision of collecting waste to decontaminate, decarbonize, and regenerate it.

This collection is the most conscious to date, with 95 percent of its materials being sustainable. McCartney chose Delevingne for her commitment to the environment, being a trustee of EcoResolution and founder of a charity that helps communities “restore nature and grow food.”
Since 2016, McCartney has been experimenting with new materials, such as recycled cashmere and Econyl fibers, as well as innovatively using apple and grape waste from Veuve Clicquot’s harvest as an alternative to leather.
The campaign, unveiled during Paris Fashion Week last year, reflects McCartney’s commitment to sustainability and her desire to use fashion as a platform to raise positive awareness and solutions to save the planet.
