Natalie Portman surprised the audience by dancing with Role Model mid-show in New York, sparking a frenzy on social media.
Natalie Portman has once again drawn media attention with an unexpected appearance on stage at Madison Square Garden during Role Model’s concert. The 44-year-old actress joined the singer as he performed his viral track ‘Sally, When the Wine Runs Out’, sending the crowd into a frenzy and triggering a wave of reactions online.
A video of the moment went viral on TikTok and was quickly shared on Instagram, boosted by one of the artist’s fan pages. Role Model himself – real name Tucker Pillsbury – reposted the clip on his Instagram Stories with the caption “Sally Portman”, a playful nod to the song’s central character.
Portman and Pillsbury are currently filming ‘Good Sex’ in New York, a romantic comedy directed by Lena Dunham in which Portman plays a couples therapist facing new forms of love after turning 40. The cast also features major names such as Meg Ryan, Rashida Jones and Mark Ruffalo. For Pillsbury, it marks his acting debut.
Since its release in February, ‘Sally, When the Wine Runs Out’ has become one of the year’s standout viral hits, featured on the album Kansas Anymore. Each night, the singer invites a surprise guest to portray “Sally” live on stage — and this time, it was Portman who stole the show. With no official release date yet, Good Sex is already shaping up to be one of Netflix’s next big hits.
