Burberry has unveiled a touching new campaign to mark Father’s Day, starring Manchester City footballer Phil Foden alongside his children, Ronnie and True. The outdoor photo shoot, set against the backdrop of the warm British weather, showcases Foden and his kids dressed in the brand’s iconic checks, capturing a family moment that emphasises paternal bonds and classic British style.

This isn’t the first time Burberry has collaborated with the football world. In 2023, the brand launched a Euro 2024-themed campaign with Foden and Eberechi Eze, where both players reflected on their connection to sport and fashion. “Fashion is important to me and it was incredible to work with Burberry in my hometown of Stockport,” said Foden.
The campaign comes at a challenging time for the luxury brand. Facing a 17% drop in annual revenue and a cost-cutting strategy that may affect up to 20% of its workforce by 2027, Burberry is leaning into cultural and emotional relevance. Under the leadership of Josh Schulman and the creative vision of Daniel Lee, the brand is aiming to regain its strength in the competitive luxury landscape.
