Disney magic has arrived in Segovia with the presentation of ‘Snow White’.
A city as enchanting as Segovia has turned into a true fairytale setting in recent days. To mark the promotion of its upcoming film, ‘Snow White‘, set to premiere on 21 March, Disney reserved the Alcázar— the fortress that inspired Walt Disney’s castle in the original movie— for two days and assembled an impressive production team. The monument and its square were closed to the public, though curious onlookers could glimpse the tents and powerful lighting rigs set up for the filming.
But Snow White’s presence in the city wasn’t limited to the castle. Disney also installed a giant red apple next to the Aqueduct, an iconic symbol that has drawn the attention of both tourists and locals, quickly becoming the star of countless photographs.

For the occasion, Rachel Zegler, who plays Snow White in the film, performed a song at the gates of the iconic Alcázar as part of the promotional event, leaving the audience in awe.
Zegler, one of Hollywood’s rising stars, shared several snapshots of her visit to Segovia on Instagram, including the striking red apple at the foot of the Aqueduct. Disney Spain also posted the image with the caption: “The classic story that started it all arrives in Segovia. Stay tuned—we’re preparing something magical.”
