The renowned fashion house Louis Vuitton has announced the talented actress Saoirse Ronan as its latest ambassador, as revealed by the brand last Tuesday. With four Oscar nominations to her name, Ronan joins Vuitton’s distinguished roster of leading ladies.

The connection between the brand and the American-Irish actress has strengthened in recent months. Ghesquière expressed his admiration for Ronan’s career, highlighting her ability to captivate in every role she plays. “I have admired Saoirse’s career for many years; I find her utterly captivating in the roles she takes on,” he stated. “Moreover, behind her talent lies a charming and brilliant person.”

In January, the 30-year-old actress wore Louis Vuitton garments at the premiere of “The Outrun” at the Sundance Film Festival, where she not only stars but also serves as a producer.

With over two decades of activity in the industry, Ronan has been praised for the breadth and emotiveness of her work in films such as “Little Women,” “Lady Bird,” “Brooklyn,” and “Atonement.” With four Oscar nominations, she won the Golden Globe for Best Actress for her performance in “Lady Bird” in 2017. Ronan’s selection reinforces the relationship between Louis Vuitton and prominent figures in the world of cinema.
