Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello were spotted getting cozy on a date night together in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The former couple warmly embraced each other as they arrived at a comedy show at Hollywood Improv on Melrose Avenue. The two singers, who collaborated on the hit song “Señorita,” were spotted engaging in lighthearted conversation, giggling, and exchanging smiles outside the venue.

Afterwards, Mendes, 24, and Cabello, 26, made their way to the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood.

Cabello, the star of the recent film “Cinderella,” looked stylish in a black blazer dress paired with a white dress shirt and black open-toed heels.

Mendes, known for his role in “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile,” sported a cream turtleneck with tan slacks. He completed his date night attire with black dress shoes.

This outing follows their much-talked-about kiss at Coachella three weeks ago, which caused a frenzy on the internet. On April 14th, the “Havana” singer and the “Mercy” crooner were captured on video smiling at each other before sharing a passionate kiss.

While fans were left puzzled about the status of their relationship, an insider clarified to Page Six that Mendes and Cabello were “not back together.”

The source explained that although Shawn and Camila still maintain a strong bond and share a history of love, they are not currently dating. Their decision to meet up at Coachella was simply due to both of them attending the festival and staying in touch since their breakup.

Regarding the Coachella kiss, the source described it as an impromptu moment that happened as the night progressed and emphasized that it was a one-time occurrence.

Nevertheless, Mendes and Cabello have been spotted together on multiple occasions following the music festival. The week after their Coachella reunion, they were seen holding hands while taking a stroll down Santa Monica Boulevard.

Another source revealed that they are enjoying rekindling their connection and are curious to see where it leads, emphasizing that the exes have a deep care for each other.

Mendes and the former Fifth Harmony member began dating in 2019 and were together for two years before announcing their split in November 2021. In a joint statement posted on social media, they clarified that although their romantic relationship had ended, they would continue to be best friends.
