The Italian house travels to Patagonia to create an autumn collection that fuses luxury, extreme nature, refined craftsmanship and wild inspiration.

Italian luxury brand Stefano Ricci once again proves that high craftsmanship can engage directly with the world’s most untamed landscapes. For its Autumn 2026 collection, the Florentine house journeyed through Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego, an expedition designed not only to capture striking visuals but to translate that raw, elemental spirit into its aesthetic proposal. At a time marked by a global slowdown across the luxury sector, the brand continues to expand its creative universe and reinforce the identity that has made it a leader in contemporary menswear.

The expedition took the team across glaciers, fjords, national parks and remote territories inhabited by pumas, guanacos, condors, elephant seals and penguins. This direct encounter with extreme nature became the foundation for a collection that blends classic elegance with technical performance. Photographer and director Andy Mann shot the campaign in settings shaped by wind and ice, highlighting the cinematic tone of the project.

The new proposal expands the vision of the SR Explorer programme and reinterprets the brand’s signature elegance through a more adventurous lens. Highlights include snow parkas with fur-trimmed hoods, cashmere blousons with multiple pockets, cropped shearling jackets and windproof field coats. Cotton-and-cashmere shirts, artisanal wool knitwear and laser-cut fur pieces with zigzag patterns further reinforce this outdoor-driven approach. The colour palette — earthy browns, pampa greens and guanaco beiges — is drawn directly from the southern landscapes, contrasted by flashes of deep blue and black.

The brand moves toward a slightly more relaxed silhouette while preserving its impeccable craftsmanship. Deconstructed blazers, lightweight coats and suits crafted from Alpha vicuña fibre bring a calm, modern sensibility to a traditionally classic vocabulary. Even the all-black tuxedo, inspired by the penguins observed during the expedition, asserts a refined simplicity through fabrics woven by the historic Antico Setificio Fiorentino and buttons made of crystal or precious stones.

The journey also incorporated a social responsibility component, a key pillar of the SR Explorer philosophy. The brand has strengthened partnerships with Fundación Científica Acción Fauna, which focuses on puma conservation programmes in their natural habitat in Chile, reinforcing Stefano Ricci’s ongoing commitment to local communities in every destination it visits.

Stefano Ricci’s long-term growth strategy remains solid, with new international openings and a steady expansion plan despite economic uncertainty. The brand will open its first store in Washington, D.C., in December and is preparing its first major flagship in Rome for 2026. Retail already accounts for 65 percent of its revenue, supported by a network of 82 stores and a turnover of 233 million euros in 2024. Although early 2025 results indicate a slight decline from the previous year, the company maintains strong momentum in key markets such as the United States, Europe, India and the Middle East, while also observing moderate signs of recovery in China.

After inaugurating an advanced logistics hub in Florence and relocating its tailoring atelier to Caldine, the company has also completed the acquisition of the historic glassmaker Moleria Locchi. With a vision built on craftsmanship, innovation and powerful visual storytelling, Stefano Ricci reaffirms its intention to evolve while remaining true to the essence that defines its DNA.
