The new album by Stray Kids, ‘DO IT’, storms to number one on the Billboard 200, securing one of the strongest opening weeks of 2025.

Stray Kids once again take command of the music industry with a historic milestone on the Billboard 200. Their new album ‘DO IT’ enters straight at number one, reaffirming the global impact of the South Korean group. The band records 295,000 equivalent units in its first week — a figure that cements this release as one of the year’s most powerful. The project includes 286,000 pure sales, 9,000 streaming units (equivalent to nearly 14 million on-demand streams) and the rest from individual track sales. With this result, Stray Kids secure their eighth number one and deliver the seventh-largest debut of the year for any album.

Movement across the US chart brings other notable new entries. The soundtrack for ‘Wicked: For Good’ lands at number two with 122,000 units, underscoring the commercial force of musical productions transitioning to film. Further down, ‘One More Time’, the new joint project by Aerosmith and YUNGBLUD, arrives at number nine with 39,000 units.

The rest of the top 10 remains dominated by major global names. Taylor Swift holds steady at number three, followed by Morgan Wallen at four and the soundtrack for ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ at five. Also charting are Tate McRae at six, Olivia Dean at seven, the soundtrack for ‘Hazbin Hotel: Season Two’ at eight, and Summer Walker closing the list at number ten. This week confirms the vitality of the music market and the dominant role that major releases continue to play in shaping the behaviour of the Billboard 200.
