SZA announces the end of her professional relationship with Terrence “Punch” Henderson, president of TDE, after more than a decade of collaboration, with no hard feelings and new projects ahead.
SZA has officially announced the end of her professional relationship with Terrence “Punch” Henderson, president of ‘Top Dawg Entertainment’ (TDE). This separation marks the conclusion of a partnership during which Punch managed the singer’s musical career.
“End of an era. I wish him the best, whatever his decisions may be,” SZA commented in a fan post about the split. Despite the abrupt departure, the singer made it clear that there are no hard feelings between them. “Just to be clear, I love Punch. No one should attack him or be cruel on my behalf. Sometimes people drift apart, and that’s okay,” she added.
This management change comes shortly after the release of ‘SOS Deluxe: Lana’, the expanded version of SZA’s critically acclaimed album. The release process for Lana encountered several setbacks, including delays and last-minute adjustments to the tracklist. SZA hinted that the transition within her team may have complicated this process. However, the artist remains focused on her music and maintaining her creative vision for her fans.
