Taylor Swift has surprised fans by announcing ‘The Life of a Showgirl’, her 12th studio album, during Travis and Jason Kelce’s podcast.
Swifties have reason to celebrate: Taylor Swift has just revealed her much-anticipated twelfth album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl’, during her appearance on the Kelce brothers’ ‘New Heights Show’ podcast.
In a video shared on Instagram, the singer can be seen opening a box with the “TS” logo before showing the camera the title of her new project. The post, made precisely at 12:12, included the message: “Posted at 12:12 on the 12th. ❤️🔥 Tay’s 12th album is called… pre-order now at TaylorSwift.com.”
The artist’s official website already allows fans to pre-order the record in vinyl, cassette and CD formats, each including a poster. The final cover remains under wraps, replaced by a series of blurred images and a padlock icon, heightening anticipation.
The full podcast episode, where Swift will share more details, will be released on 13 August at 7:00pm (ET). In the meantime, the news has already racked up over 1.2 million likes in just two hours, confirming that the Showgirl era has arrived in full force.
