Maison Margiela has opened ‘Casa Margiela,’ a pop-up in Madrid dedicated to its ‘Replica’ fragrance collection.

On October 16, 2023, Maison Margiela inaugurated a unique pop-up in Madrid, called ‘Casa Margiela’. This temporary experience, open until October 22, celebrates the ‘Replica’ fragrance collection, known for capturing specific moments through scents. The space, designed to evoke nostalgia and sensory experiences, allows visitors to explore different perfumes that aim to awaken personal memories.

One of the highlights of this pop-up is the offer of workshops and artistic activities, where participants can learn about the process of creating fragrances and memories. These workshops are aimed at both enthusiasts and those simply wishing to delve deeper into the world of perfumery, providing a closer experience with the brand.

In addition to the workshops, ‘Casa Margiela’ includes interactive spots that allow visitors to discover the notes and nuances of each fragrance. The store’s atmosphere also reflects the brand’s minimalist and conceptual aesthetic, with a design that invites introspection and sensory connection. The experience is complemented by specialty coffee, creating a space for relaxation and enjoyment, which was created by Jenny Meirens.

This initiative marks an important milestone for the brand, as it is the first time they have opened a pop-up of this kind in Europe. Its success could set a precedent for future sensory experiences from the French fashion house in other European cities, demonstrating how fashion and perfumery can combine to create something more than just a product: an emotional and sensory experience.
