The Frankie Shop makes its Middle Eastern debut with an exclusive pop-up in Abu Dhabi that merges fashion, architecture, and local talent.
The cult New York brand, The Frankie Shop, has arrived in the Middle East for the first time with an exclusive pop-up in Abu Dhabi, marking a strategic milestone for the label. For two weeks, lovers of minimalism and contemporary design can explore the brand’s distinctive aesthetic in a space designed by the Perron-Roettinger agency, blending architectural modernism with photogenic elegance.

Gaëlle Drevet, founder of the brand, created a special collection of 50 pieces tailored to the local audience. “I try to incorporate tradition and modernity, which is also what the city is trying to achieve,” she commented. The collection is defined by structured silhouettes, refined textures, and versatile looks that transition seamlessly from day to night.

The event, supported by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, celebrates not only fashion but also local talent. It features collaborations with regional creatives such as Cheb Moha and Tulip Hazbar, as well as experiences like the 48 Collagen Café.

The launch was a true star-studded affair, with celebrities including Kelly Rutherford, Joan Smalls, and Farida Khelfa bringing a glamorous touch to the occasion.

“Frankie is a confident woman… she wears fashion, but fashion doesn’t wear her,” said Drevet. Although there are no immediate plans for permanent expansion, the brand is already making its mark on the region’s luxury scene.
