Actress Cameron Diaz surprises by advocating for separate rooms for couples, normalizing this unusual perspective in relationships.
The renowned actress Cameron Diaz has left many surprised with her opinion on romantic relationships during an interview on the Lipstick on the Rim podcast. The star of Bad Teacher argues that we should normalize the use of separate rooms for couples.
In the conversation with podcast hosts Molly Sims and Emese Gormley, Diaz expressed her unconventional point of view. “We should normalize separate rooms,” she stated. Despite the incredulous looks from her hosts, Diaz insisted on her stance: “For me, I would have my house, you would have yours. The family home in the middle. I would sleep in my room, and you in yours. I’m okay with that.” Although this dynamic may be surprising to many, Diaz claims that it is the lifestyle of many unconventional couples. “And we would have the room in the middle where we could meet for our relationships,” she added.
It’s worth noting that Cameron clarified that this opinion does not reflect her current situation with her husband Benji Madden, whom she describes as wonderful. This is not the first time Diaz has made headlines with controversial opinions, as she previously shared her unusual beauty routine.
